I wish they would downtune, many of the 80s classics just sound too rough (for me) with his current voice. These include Aces, Trooper, Hallowed, and TETMD. Too strained and screechy.

Maiden is aware of what the fans want, and they are aware of albums that they have overlooked over the years. I’m sure something from No Prayer will make it to the setlist. Probably Daughter, hopefully the title track, even Tailgunner as an opener or encore opener would make me smile.

Don’t be surprised when they open the show with Invaders. No one would expect that. Also since it’s a Clive era song, we won’t immediately be comparing Simon with Nicko. However, I still think Prowler will be the opener though.

These songs are such “album tracks”, and the fact that they were never played live and people rarely talk about them, they’ve become more enjoyable to me. I quite enjoy all of them, especially Gates of Tomorrow. That was always one of my favorites from Dance of Death, along with the usual...

I agree with you about 70s Priest, Sad Wings and Stained Class are incredibly overrated. I think it’s mostly because Rob’s voice sounds thinner in that era. However, I do enjoy Hell Bent and Sin After Sin much more than I used to. 80s Priest is my Priest. The metallic sounding Priest.

I’m so sad that Blaze has not toured in the States (not in recent years anyway).
