Yeah, Maiden as a business is planned years and years in advance. Steve, Bruce and Adrian have their various solo projects that need to be worked around Maidens schedule.
The logistics in everything Maiden do takes time so can't be thrown together last minute. If you're going on tour for...
But he's the peace president???
No new wars.
He ended eleventy billion wars!
He ended the Russia Ukraine war on day one! Didn't he?
He got the (very real and internationally respected) Fifa peace prize for gods sake!
Now it almost looks like he's a lunatic egomaniac, like we've all been...
RnRR is excellent. I normally try to make the trip down when I'm on holiday in Orlando, bit of a drive but worth it. Best ribs I've ever had! Staff are lovely and prices are super reasonable.
I don't buy that personally. He's already had more than 6 years since he's had to write anything for Maiden. By 2027 he'll have had an 8 year break from writing. Not exactly a recipie for burnout.
I do think they overestimated demand thinking that European fans want to see the same show twice. And the whole Knebworth thing being £145 for last years show and some underwhelming as hell support bands is just an absolute nonsense. Completely misjudged.
For the rest of the world I don't...
Agree with Jer, it's a claim without evidence at this point.
Though it would explain why Trump thinks people are aborting babies after they're born. Every Conservative accusation is a confession.
Dude, I don't even live in the USA. I can assure you a huge chunk of the rest of the world can see Trump for the absolutely deranged piece of shit that he is. You don't need "leftist media" to get to that.
You don't even HAVE leftist media in the USA. You have centrist media and right wing...
Yeah he loves authoritarians normally.
Could he literally be starting a war to distract from the Epstein files release?
(I'm sure the FBI have scrubbed them of any mention of Trump, hence why he's been delaying so much)
Or he just wants to prove how much of a tough guy he is.
Gave this a listen. He's definitely got alot of his finesse back! The explosive power likely is gone forever, but it's an absolute pleasure hearing him at this level behind the kit again :)
Yeah between the frequent hand bruising, the recent MRI that they're not being transparent about, his regular cognitive tests and his general verbal decline over the last couple of years it's clear that there's something wrong. But transparency isn't a thing in this administration.
I can see Maiden doing a few months in the studio early in the year. Bruce releasing and touring his new solo album, and Steve probably doing some British Lion stuff.
Janick, Dave and Adrian would have most of the year off unless there's more Smith/Kotzen stuff.
Yeah if Steve really wants to tour as much as possible then taking 2027 off to do NOTHING doesn't really make sense.
Got to be studio time. We know Bruce is keen.
Honestly the "far left/socialist/communist" label just seems to be a stick to beat your opponents with.
Centre right corporate Dems use it to attack anyone left of them.
Republicans, Fox News etc use it even to attack the centre right Dems.
Are these "far left" Dems advocating for the state to...
I can't say I've seen anything Mamdani has said thats antisemitic. He's a fierce critic of Isreals genocide, and some are quick to twist that into antisemitism. It's the same playbook we've seen many times before.
I think Democrats will ride a pretty huge blue wave in the mid terms. Even some...
As far as I know Maiden actually pay their support bands. But someone like The Hu will be much cheaper to book than a bigger band that would actually make the lineup stronger and help to shift tickets.
Agreed, the lineup is REALLY poor.
Maiden could realistically ask almost any rock/metal band in the world and they would most likely say yes.
I think the supports was more of a financial decision.
