Exactly right, BMO stadium only has a concert capacity of 22 000 they usually play to more people in the area doing 2 arena dates, then something in Northern California.
The word stadium just sounds good lol
Wouldn't surprise me Maiden getting into the endless pumpkin themed drinks range with a beer.
But as it says "Run for your lives ... tomorrow" it's a safe bet it will be tour dates.
Rush are only playing 3 US cities.
In saying that in the US this is a non factor having a major sports event won't impact concert bookings, quite often you have situations where multiple events happen at the same time in a city on any given night.
Unless Steve rather be at home to watch it...
Bruce did say after his final solo show in LA he will be back with his day job band next year. It's happening and as already said TFP dates for the US came out the final week of Oct.
Bruce has been saying on the recent US tour they will be back in 2027 to do it all again, it looks like it will be the most extensive solo tour to date doing both Europe and NA
he also mentioned not "stitching" the songs together after the fact, so basically how all the Steve epics are done where they typically record in pieces
He mentioned last night all the songs will be recorded "live" with everyone in the same room, not using any studio tricks or technology. Definitely does sound like a return to that more raw energy
There are some exceptions for sure, but the boat has well sailed for Maiden to play stadiums in the US, it will be a shortened typical arena run in their biggest markets.
The ticket market in the US isn't great, plenty of bands are struggling to push ticket sales, I really don't think they are planning anything outside of your typical arenas.
Most tours that put off larger venues are needing to stack the bill with a few other bands which equals more expense...
Would rather go abroad tbh, it's not even a great venue to watch this type of show, half in daylight and far too big on a flat field were most people wont see a thing lol
What has convinced me to see another show next year is no plans for 2027 and who knows what happens after that. Time is short they won't be around much longer.
Or it could be like last year Aus and Asia first, then into NA, finishing the year out with South America. But I guess that will depend if they have booked RIR for September.
