    Judas Priest

Jack White plays wherever he wants because he chooses to. He has stated that he prefers small gigs for the energy. And he sells out all of those shows. Where do you live? I'll use the latest data from Chicago, since it is my home market. Jack White's most recent (and upcoming) tours: 7.24.26...

    Judas Priest

Artists like Bruce Springsteen, Jack White, Pearl Jam and Metallica make at least 10x more money per gig than Priest. And that’s being radically conservative.

    Judas Priest

A live album requires equipment rental, mixing/mastering, overdubs, extra studio time, etc. etc. A compilation just needs art (even this crappy art) and a PR push.

Ranking 80s Maiden albums having Bruce on vocals

    1. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son The most consistent, strongest album they released until the reunion. Atmosphere for days. 2. Powerslave The bookends are some of their absolute best material ever, but there's a reason it's called fillerslave. 3. Piece of Mind Amazing start, amazing middle...

    Symphony X

Q&A from Monsters of Rock cruise Bad sound, but a fun interview. Some interesting tidbits: Russell confirms that his favorite singer of all time is Dio. When Russell joined the band before The Damnation Game, he had to audition over the phone, a cappella, for the Japanese label to agree to...

It's back for one more go in the ring! Mike LePond's Bass-tacular Metal Rodeo, Part 3! Ross the Boss - By Blood Sworn (2018) Former Manowar axeman Ross The Boss recruits LePond for this collection of schlocky, woefully uninspired “classic” metal. Most of this toes the line somewhere between...

    USA Politics

Yes, because Conservative Americans are widely recognized for their pristine health. Every Karen McMAGA can completely bleach their shitty crop-cut, but don't you damn libtards dare use a non-traditional color in your hair! It offends me as a man who objectifies you!

    Rush

I agree in terms of the music - the first Rush album was mostly terrible save for the cult classic that is Working Man. I have zero interest in new Rush music because the missing piece that made Rush great songwriters was always Neil. Anika is a great drummer, I'm sure she'll play the songs we...

Russell Allen is back belting his guts out with some of the lamest, most generic and cliched lyrics you can possibly find while Anette...

    USA Politics

This is an impossible thing to do. His sources are all propaganda and he will claim all of your sources are completely fake, Soros-paid fiction created by nose-ring wearing trans people in Black Lives Matter shirts working on their next domestic terrorist protest act. It is hopeless, it is sad...

    Megadeth

Dave’s a petty, childish bozo but at least I know he’s actually intelligent and one of the greatest writers to ever touch the genre. Schaffer is equal amounts of a control freak but with 80% less talent, influence and popularity. Also, I don’t work for domestic terrorists.

    Tailgunner (UK band)

I have a lot of fun with the Midnight Blitz record, but I would love to see them become themselves on subsequent releases. The "Iron Maiden + Judas Priest but also power metal" thing combined with the gimmicky look is gonna wear thin, eventually.
