His voice really shines in songs like Infinite Dreams or Revelations. They should consider playing songs of that type more often instead of others he cannot longer sing properly.
 
Bruce said in interviews (e.g., with Metal Hammer Germany) that his voice has gained more color and depth in the lower registers in recent years, and that’s a completely accurate observation.
It’s just strange that there are other things he apparently honestly doesn’t notice at all...

It's unfair we are even judging his voice when he's sick.

He's been phenomenal this tour when healthy and yes I know he can't really sing Aces anymore

I doubt it's about the live album, but let's hope it's another meeting for recording a new album next year.
 
In the tour announcement, they say that many songs will never be played again (if there are any future tours).

I believe they chose Aces High as the farewell for that one.
Has anyone been to any of the US shows? How’s the overall reception been?
 
A small detail, but I really like the way Bruce has been singing the "even though its reached new heights, I rather like the restless nights"

I would say he does very good up to The Trooper. After that it's rougher. His voice doesn't hold up over a full show like 15 years ago. Which I can understand.

I must admit I am really curious how the live release will sound like. Sometimes I wonder if being at the venue makes me judge the performances with rose-tinted glasses.

He sounded good in Jersey on the 5th, even sick. The scream on Wrathchild was one of my favorites, imo.

My bet would be on Rime or Powerslave, especially considering they brought them back together.
