Your current Maiden ‘kick’

The bootlegs i used to look for them in the 90s i had some cassettes. I cant remember all now i only have the originals. But now are all over the internet
I remembe getting cd bootlegs in the early 2000s.

Always wanted to find a genuinely great blaze show and I finally did with this one. Sure he still can't sing the trooper et al but this one he nails all of his own songs 100%, plus wratchild and Afraid to shoot strangers, and does a respectable to decent job on some of the other Bruce material and actually does quite well overall and doesn't embarrass himself. His voice clearly hadn't worn out yet at this point from forcing it up out of its range

I'm typically pretty anti-AI when it comes to a lot of things. However, seeing the absolute bonkers things it can do as far as video and imagery, you'd think AI could take the underlying performance of a show like this (or Paris '86) and polish it up to soundboard quality...or in the case of Paris '86, at least remove the high-pitched VHS hum that runs through the whole show.

Or maybe not. I've just always dreamed of having a great Blaze era live album, which would probably have to be cobbled together A Real Live One-style...or composed mostly of a brilliant show like this.

When I get home from work, which is pretty exact 7:30 p.m. every day, I'm opening all my windows at home and give my neighborhood a blast of three Maiden songs each day. I'm doing this for more than two years now. They know what to expect. And they get nothing but Maiden (or Bruno solo stuff), since I actually don't listen to anything else. Three tracks every evening very loud. No one complaints, since they know after the third track it's gonna be over. Today me & the neighborhood were listening to 22, Gangland & Hallowed, all in their studio version.

After overlistening to Senjutsu for about 4 years, I switched to other stuff this year. For the last 6 months, I have been listening to Megadeth's final album more than anything else, and I attended one of their concerts last month. As for Iron Maiden, I am picking up a couple of songs to listen to, generally when I am taking 15-20 minute walks (which I do almost every day). I realised that I mostly selected songs from TXF or TBOS recently.

I`ve been doing a full on discography re-listen from start to finish, plan to do every album, including the Blaze ones. Currently at Somewhere in Time, having the time of my life.

My current kick is that we are rehearsing for a combined Sabbath/Maiden tribute show, and I'm trying to manage playing Maiden songs with one guitar, while I sing too o_O
Interesting. Wasted Years, The Wicker man, Evil That Men Do, 2 Minutes To Midnight? Or what kind of songs are you doing, what fits for a 1 guitar singing at the same time setup?
Curious, cause Im a singer/guitarist too.
