That would be my guess. It would be stupid to send the audio signal to the stage and back just for the wah. Same thing that Kirk Hammett does, who has the rack wah controller packed into his signature casings.

Earth.
The Earth has a continuous curve along the bottom edge, while the Laser has an angle that breaks that line. Other than that, they’re identical. The Laser is the one Adrian used in '88

Here's a shot of the Lado (most likely - as in, I don't know if it's actually H's Lado) - I saw it posted on the 2026 tour thread by @sea.of.madness.1986 - I'm unsure where the photo originates though! Perhaps you can advise?

On further inspection, it's not the same one H is using - H's is 22 frets, and this one is 24. Looks to be almost the same spec though!

It also has Seymor Duncan pickups, the one H has doesn't, @matic22 thinks he has a super distortion and a PAF 36th anniversary, (which I agree with)

That’s not H’s Lado, at first glance I thought it was a model just like that one but it’s not.

That's true. On H's the neck pickup has one row of screw polepieces and one row of flat pole pieces, while the bridge pickup looks like 2 rows of hex polepieces. No Seymour Duncan logo. And yeah, the switch on H's is on lower horn, because he found it difficult to play tapping on the old ones with the switch in Les Paul position (as said in the Ola Englund video). This year H is also using the neck pickup for the intro on Infinite Dreams.
It seems like H custom ordered the guitar on the basis of the black Lado while making some improvements of things that bothered him (switch position and 24 frets). The original black Lado was moved to backup duty while the grey Lado became the drop D guitar.

I hope the destroyer still comes out though. Probably after the brand new toy phase is over. Also do you think this will become Adrian's new main guitar, its about the normal switch time.

Thanks for sharing. Interesting color palette for Adrian, like a mix of his black and grey Lados. It looks very stylish and cool. I thought he would bring a blue one again.
Who would have thought that Lado will be his main guitar again, awesome.
