News Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

They played on 2016, not 2017.

Here is what I recall exists from the years you were not sure of.
  • Speed of Light, Children of the Damned, The Book of Souls and Blood Brothers from 2016.
  • Stratego from 2022. I seem to remember the Trooper and Fear of the Dark as well, but I might be mistaken.
During book of souls tour. But i didnt find good youtube broadcast

Btw during download/ donington 2007 bruce says that they are filming it for a dvd. So i guess thats another show that its in the vault
Apparently it was shelved due to the sheer amount of flags in the audience, a lot of the shots didn't look good. I've never been convinced by this excuse but that's what the word is. Does anyone know if this was this an official excuse or just a little back channel drip feed? Or fandom fantasy?

Releasing Download 2007 has obviously been scrapped a long time ago.

The footage is really dark, about a million flags obstructed the cameras and they had a few issues with their performance as well.
Yes the bruce fall, some weird sound during a song but i liked the show. I really hope the realese dvds from old tours like they did years after from thr early tours and obviusly they have more than they had in the 80s

The Donington DVD was also intended to be supplemented with performances from 2006 to cover the entire AMOLAD album since we saw Steve working on the mix for The Longest Day on Flight 666. It's a crying shame it ended up getting shelved.

I know people talk about the footage being bad or other issues, but I've always assumed the real reason was DotR's DVD being delayed to 2006 and Flight 666 releasing in 2009 resulting in the release window they had intended for Donington '07 closing. If the footage was that unusable I doubt they would've mixed and edited the thing.

There wasn’t a broadcast in 2016 or 2022. It’s probably due to the broadcast rights. However I am going to share these videos.

I very much appreciate that The Live Chapter exists, but I'd love to have a proper, full-length recording of this show. As far as their festival performances from the past ~10 years go, Donington 2016 seem to have a really great vibe and, perhaps, the biggest "we're going to show them..." factor of raw energy and push to give a really good performance; probably due to Bruce's return after the cancer and all! Bruce sounds pretty good there and I absolutely love that set - too bad it's the only one between 2011 & 2025 that I didn't witness live myself. I even like Tears of a Clown a lot.

Edit: currently listening to that Blood Brothers performance. It's pretty strong!!

I want it to happen, which means it won't ever happen :(

Though to be fair, The Future Past was pretty much that. 2/3 of the setlist were either live premieres or rarities that hadn't been played for ages. Some stuff, like CSIT, hadn't been played for decades!
I mean, even LOTB was a little bit of that. Flight of Icarus hadn't been played for over 30 years, SOTC and Clansman were rarities, Where Eagles Dare and FTGGOG were total curve balls. For a "greatest hits" tour, it was quite diverse.

I think the same, just remember 2024 shows were bazed on recent album and SiT, some less popular songs among the casual listeners. This time they will play the greatest hits from golden era. Audience pleasers. Maybe documentary will help the sales, but I think with the proper co-headliner there are some chances for the bigger venues in US and Canada. Less gigs, bigger venues and impressive spectacle.
I watched some shows from the FPT on youtube some of them in the usa and were pavilions and with a lot of people. For a tour with 5 new songs some of them epics and not known and the rest from sIt and another non classics is pretty good. If you check the setlist is weird for them to play all this songs

I really think that the band knows and they want to play as much rarities they can for the rest of the tours. I really think that
