I had a look at my receipt and the big issue I would have with the pricing is the extra charges, face value is £127.50, but with the add ons it's another £19.08 on top, which is absolutely nothing more than theft.
To play devil's advocate, that's on the lower end of what big scale concerts cost these days. Disclaimer, I'm going to both Metallica and Maiden this summer. Plus Download.
Yeah I'm doing both too, my Metallica ticket the fees are €10.50, and that's two gigs as well.

I am doing both Metallica gigs in London. I paid a total of £173.05 and of that £150.00 is for both tickets (i.e., £75.00 per ticket), while the rest are fees (service charge of £16.50, facility charge of £3.80, and handling fee of £2.75).
For Maiden's show at the London Stadium un 2025, the ticket price in a similar section was £87.50, with a £10.90 service charge fee per ticket, and a one-off handling fee of £2.75.
How I miss the days when you would go to a record shop to buy your physical ticket there!
Surely much of that video for Aces High could be repurposed for Tailgunner.Aces High will not be changed. They created an entire video for it which goes beyond the borderline screensaver that SSOASS got.
None of the other songs will be changed either, but Aces High is one of the centerpieces. Come on now.
Not suggesting they are using the excuse of not changing the set because of the dedicated video for each song, but it would be laughable if this was the reason.Surely much of that video for Aces High could be repurposed for Tailgunner.
For me, the exclusion of a single NPFTD track during the 2025 leg is an error that they should fix in the 2026 leg.
Animation can be a bit expensive though. Unless you want bad quality or use AI.Not suggesting they are using the excuse of not changing the set because of the dedicated video for each song, but it would be laughable if this was the reason.
Creating new videos and imagery for different songs with the technology available would take no time at all.
They're already using AI (on Powerslave and probably a few more).Animation can be a bit expensive though. Unless you want bad quality or use AI.

I preffer the old stage and backdrops. Good to see something new but thats many bands do. And i preffer the big eddie than an eddie on the screen. They're already using AI (on Powerslave and probably a few more).
Agee, but Maiden does it right, it's not just flashing lights, it's a new design for each song which they really can't do. They did 3 and 4 stages for LOTB and it took time for intermission, now it's instant. I'm sure it will look great on DVD and definitely irl.I preffer the old stage and backdrops. LOTB was the best stage and one of their best big Eddies and a very good setlist. They absolutely are. The Powerslave backdrop is very obviously using generative AI elements for Eddie's face. The eyes give it away. There are other examples but that's the clearest. No they're not.
