My nephew's fourth Bday - Which Maiden album should I get him?

Dick Brucinson

The TRUE Dick Brucinson
My nephew Woody ist turning four next month. For his third bday last year he got the Powerslave Tee gifted by me, and this year I wanna get him his first ever Iron Maiden album for his bday (on CD). Which one would you all recommend to be a proper Maiden album gift for someone's fourth birthday? Maybe LAD? I think it's important to make sure someone's first Maiden album is based on a perfect choice. Tough one.

Seventh son? Rock in rio?

Rock in Rio is also a great idea, although maybe he’s a little young. He might think BRITNEY FUCKING SPEARS IS FUCKING COOL and Bruce is gonna RIP HIS FUCKING HEAD OFFFFFFFFFF.

Happy birthday Woody!
Using the Powerslave tee as a context background - I suggest the Powerslave album. Since there is a prominent relationship between the art and the music in general, there's your chance to build that bridge between it for him.

I personally would wait until he is a bit older to introduce him to the wonderful music of Iron Maiden. He would probably be able to appreciate it more.
That was the exact mistake I did with my own sons, now 17 and 20. I believed waiting would gain appreciation. Turned out to be a total error calculation. Theo (17) is into some sort of gangsta rap, Glenn (20) doesn't listen to music at all. The point they would both commonly agree with each other: Maiden suck. :S

Perhaps they do not like the music and that is absolutely fine. They is no obligation to share your parents' musical tastes, you know?

Why though? (Just curious)

Based on personal experience, individual tastes tend to develop at a later age. I would suggest exposing them to as many different musical artists/styles as possible and let them develop their own musical taste.

My daughter likes some of the music I listen to and has been to gigs with me (Maiden included), but there are some other things that she does not like at all and that is absolutely fine.
