I guess it will create some hype. It should be released in the first half of next year, but they could wait after the tour as well, I wouldn't be surprised.

WE'll see. Probably, people will buy more tickets closer to the show day (especially in NA). And yes, even a documentary about a career creates some hype and makes people focus on the band. They announced it, will be released by Universal Pictures. I think we will see the movie next year. This year was about the visual book, big shows in Europe, many other releases, including merch, and so. 2026 is about a worldwide tour and the documentary as the main enterprise/release.

I've heard rumors of Steve not being happy with how it turned out, hence why the postponement to 2026.
The fact there is a big distributor and producer behind it means they can't flop with that one, so if they know it's not gonna be interesting for 90% of the audience they're probably not releasing it at all.

It wouldn't be 3 dates in a row. 25, 27 and 28. The fact the 2nd show is happening two days later is the confirmation a third show was planned, but there still is every section available (even discounted) for the 2nd show.

I think they originally planned 3 shows in São Paulo, but most people are out of money. A better decision would be to announce Brazil in February and even in March. Referring to the documentary, maybe they will change the formula and release the one later?

Yeah 3 were definitely planned, read that on the FC coming from a local source, but that looks likely scrapped with how the second show is selling.

A kind of public discredit I recon. I'm starting to think the fans worldwide just showed them their middle fingers. Probably the tour will be a big flop. Eventually they will be forced to change venues for more intimate or even cancel some shows. New stage, and playing all around the same old stuff weren't the best scenario to attract people. I wouldn't be surprised if after 2027 hiatus they announce the retirement without any last goodbye show. Bitter end of legends but honestly, it was predictable.

No way, too many gigs with bad results even in big cities like Paris. They hired many huge venues, tickets are probably the most expensive in band's history too. Is this possible they just have lost 50% fans after 2025 shows? Maybe many people don't accept Maiden without Nicko, who knows? All in all no good perspective for 50 anniversary.

Actually is just a bunch. And they're not underperforming: they're not overperforming. Italy is going to be a flop for the history books bust just because the venue's size. Bucharest too, but it will be double their previous attendance's record in Romania. And so many others.

The only real flop is Knebworth, but we all know the reasons.

So, how many people will attend the Romania show? 15, 20 thousand. Knebworth should be cancelled. And we talk about Europe in both Americas some dates will be a flop for sure.

So, what to do to attract more people? Documentary's premiere in early 2026? Cut the prices? I don't know. They hyped Knebworth as "one of the biggest in their career," but now, it's an aberration. As I said, sales in some cities in both Americas are not good (Mexico City, for example) a real bad surprise for a band this size.

Recent Pollstar and Billboard touring data suggests 2025 has been a fantastic year for Maiden's tour.

2026 it looks like in France and Germany headlining major festivals at same as trying to headline standalone concerts maybe expecting too much of fans. Should have done standalone concerts. Metallica have largely moved away from playing European festivals, think Maiden should have done so.

Italy's prices seem very high. Knebworth I don't see them cancelling, would lose huge amount of face.

2026 in Europe they could have limited the tour to 15 concerts. Rod too optimistic.

North American tour routing has seemed bizarre as well, little west coast and San Antonio stadium.

South American shows look like being a success.

Curious types of venues and cities to be played in rest of the world.
