So, we will see. You're talking like they haven't sold out the first show in 30 minutes.
And yeah, it's better to play in front of an half empty stadium than to not play at alll

Yeah, there is no other optionThey will add another show in SA as they havent announce ‘no further shows to be added’ question is will be another show in brazil
I've analyzed the capacity of all 50 shows booked for 2026 so far. Theoretically, all venues (including festivals) can hold around 2 million people combined. It's the big number, especially if we realize Iron Maiden is going to announce even more shows in the other territories. I suppose the sales will increase mainly before the show days, but generally, my conclusion is that the management/organizers overestimated the demand for the band this time. After the overwhelming success of the 2025 leg, they probably expected the same reaction around the world, but the fans were not so enthusiastic this time. I think that if these 50 shows finally attract around 65% of the aforementioned "capacity", we would see 1.3 million attendees from a total of circa 2 million. That's not bad, but it could be significantly better if the sales went really well. Just my morning conclusion, nothing really special...You're talking like they haven't sold out the first show in 30 minutes.

The theoretical capacity, but final sales could be 70k +In argentina 100mil people in 2 shows
In sao paulo the stadium capacity 107 mil. I think they never reached that levelThe capacity, but final sales could be 70k +
I know, hope the two nights will be sold out as in 2024.In sao paulo the stadium capacity 107 mil. I think they never reached that level
It was obvious that the second show was probably too much. People seem not to be so enthusiastic about this tour. As I said, the band and Rod overestimated the demand, which is a little shame. Generally, thinking they will fill Allianz Parque three times after they've played there just 2 years ago was crazy. The better choice would be headline Rock In Rio and add some shows in São Paulo or so. And once again, not using documentary to promote the forthcoming tour was an extremely BAD PR move. And - once again, as I used to - blame management once again.I was wrong. Safe to say there won't be a third show in Sao Paulo.

But the prices are higher, and people spent a fortune on GNR and AC/DC shows a little earlier. Just look at the other dates. Only 14 - 20 from some 50 are sold well, the rest of them are poor or so, so. It's not a good omen, and once again, due to a bad marketing strategy. It wasn't obvious at all. They have just broken records six months ago. They played the biggest solo show of their entire history, performing in major stadiums, and there hasn’t been a single week in which the two most respected ticket sales tracking institutions have not listed Iron Maiden among the biggest and most profitable tours of the year. But the prices are higher, and people spent a fortune on GNR and AC/DC shows a little earlier. OK. But as we can see, the fans didn't react so enthusiastically for the 2026 concerts, even worse, in different parts of the world. To me, it's weird. and saddened. And yet people are saying that fans aren’t excited? That the band isn’t being properly promoted?
It feels like they’re living on different planets.
But then 3 shows are already sold out, that is the first night. Perhaps most could not afford a second night after all those expenditure on the ac/dc etc. Perhaps like you said the documentary should have been released before announcing LATAM. But australlia and japan i think they will do well.OK. But as we can see, the fans didn't react so enthusiastically for the 2026 concerts, even worse, in different parts of the world. part of the tour was tremendous success, but forthcoming shows around the world are something people don't care so specially.
Who knows, they just played Australia and Japan in 2024. I would like to see the face of Rod remembering his big mouth words about worldwide stadium tour. As I said many times before, IM management is one of the most lazy and ignorant in this bizz. But then 3 shows are already sold out, that is the first night. Increase the hype hahaI don't know why anybody thinks the documentary will have an impact on ticket sales.
Motley Crue did that, because the movie/film was appealing to non-fans as well. Not Maiden case, since it will end up being another "Iron Maiden History documentary" covering parts of their carreer they've already covered in the past. I'm not even sure it will ever get released.Increase the hype haha
So why did they announce the documentary at all? They did it that many times, even in the last interviews, tour announcements, and on the official site (including in the band's bio section). They had spent a considerable amount of money on production, invited special guests, and hired professionals to produce it, but ultimately did not release it due to lost time and a significant amount of money. I don't think so.Motley Crue did that, because the movie/film was appealing to non-fans as well.
