Which songwriting team is your favourite?

If you exclude Harris (solo) , then my vote would be Harris / Smith / Dickenson with my favorites being Die With Your Boots On (!!), Wicker Man, These Colours Don’t Run, El Dorado and Starblind (!!).

My vote went to Harris. He have written some legendary songs. But really, they are all good. So happy that Adrian and Bruce came back in 99 as they are so good songwriters

I must say that Smith/Dickinson and Gers/Harris almost always deliver.

with The Book of Souls, Dance of Death, and The Talisman being top 3 IM songs for me; it has to be Gers/Harris.

There is no competition, really. Harris anytime. He is vastly superior to the others in that department. As for a real team, Harris/Murray or Harris/Gers. Smith/Dickinson mostly deliver generic heavy rock.

You said songwriting team yet included Harris solo efforts so obviously it has to be him. I think personally you should have included only teams in the poll.

Putting aside fear of the dark album tracks,
Gers / Harris is an astonishingly consistent songwriting duo. Some of the best tracks of the last 25 years has come from these two alone.

I’d now rate Gers / Harris far higher over Smith / Dickinson, for modern Maiden that is.

I also agree apart from Gers repeatedly trying to sneak the same acoustic riff in and hoping noone notices.

My favorite solo songwriter is definitely Harris, if we talk about teams, my favorite would be Smith/Dickinson/Harris, loads of great songs, also, shout out to the Harris/Gers team, great songs also.
