Don't forget that he had a heart attack. It's not mentioned much anymore, which is a good sign.
Fans see his performance and don't think about that heart attack at all.

I saw him live last year for the first time in about five years. He was great. But it's the first time I thought his voice had lost a step, just a little.

I don't enjoy saying that, the man is my hero.

He's still great btw

Afraid to Shoot Strangers would be a treat and arrangement-/playingwise I believe it would fit the Absolva guys really well!

Interesting to see if any of the "deeper" X-Factor/Virtual XI cuts will make it to the Silicon Messiah (or other "solo") sets, or shall they stick with the Virus, Futureal & Man on the Edge. I wouldn't mind some variation on that department, but I get that those three are already quite established as standard Blaze Bayley setlists numbers.

Blaze did Afraid to Shoot Strangers with Thomas Zwijsen. The live version, from Gothenburg 1995, was a part of the Best of the Beast double cd as well, so I don't think it's out of the question.

Looks like Blaze tour dates for the UK next year are floating around online at the moment. The only show in the east of England is in Norwich. That sucks for me as I would quite like to see the show.
