RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

This is the happiest I have seen the band on the stage in a while.

Best Bruce show of the tour. Hallowed was amazing and Aces surpassed passable and was okay.

Black Lado is back. On Rime and everything beyond it that was Lado. Sounds great and cuts through mix more than The Silver Lady. The Hooligan is gone and 2MTM was played on the 2016 Jackson.

Adrian made the "MC" gesture during the fast vocal parts of Hallowed and I almost pissed myself.

More tomorrow.

What's the MC gesture

Interest how often H chops and changes his guitars - wonder if the Hooligan will be back for another show - usually I think 'artwork' guitars are cheesy but I like the Hooligan one - although it was odd that he used it on TFP tour.

Something nobody really ever mentions is the Ibanez Roadstar H used on Powerslave almost entirely, it was a single humbucker just like the Hooligan.. Wonder if H still has it around? I knowe he didn't like it for live back then, but maybe like with the Lados, a few mods could bring it back..

Powerslave is the Roadstar entirely. But as you said H didn't like it for live use, likely due to tuning issues.

If Bruce was hinting a new studio album...: When could that have been recorded? If a new album, I guess it's with Simon on drums (I hope!), not Nicko. So, let's assume their plan of the drummer exchange was well wrapped perhaps by later summer last year (I don't believe it was any earlier) to be announced December 7 2024, there's not so many possible time frames left when an album could have been recorded. Were they spotted anywere as a band together in one place since then? If I'm not mistaken, there was some Paris mentioning, but I'm not sure really.

I don't believe if a new album was to be released it has Nicko on drums.

Bruce shares a few words. Looks like pro shot footage of London which leads me to think that a live video is happening. Also talk of things to come. More tour dates I assume? Or an album?

Bruce loves to tease as we know, so we have to keep that in mind, but it can't about the dates for the 2nd leg - he covered it with the first spoiler alert joke. It's either about an upcoming live release from the tour (London was during the day, so I doubt it), or more likely about a new album. After all, recording it in early/after the tour next year or in 2027 is normal (habits). I really hope and doubt it's about the book and the documentary... such a hint and secret game could only be about a new album, but let's see. Also, he pauses for a smile, there's that.
2027 is going to be another run of festival/open air dates in Europe with a slightly modified setlist - but no exciting modifications, rather something like SSOASS swapped for Revelations.
Him teasing a potential 3rd leg already? Naah. I don't think this tour needs a 3rd leg, 2 years are enough, but if they add more 90's songs and like more than 3 changes is another question... it could be more interesting.
Don't hype yourselves too much, it will be new tour dates, book and documentary.
I remember a Maiden thank you video from 2023 where Bruce said something else will happen and people started seriously believing that new Maiden album will be released. When actually it was Bruce's new album that people already kinda knew about.
Good point, but now a new album is more likely because of their habits.
Nicko said on Eddie Trunk show he's got no knowledge about a new record as of now. Might be lying to keep it secret, but I believe him
Sad, but maybe they decided to record with Simon. We know Nicko, but I doubt he'll spoil the secret.
It's not if you look at their recent touring history.
Agreed, but a few European dates for next year are 50/50, especially if there is no 3rd leg.

I really like the 2MTM guitar. The black Lado sounds amazing.

So great to hear.
