I listened to Midnight Messiah and I definitely enjoy it more than Night Terror now. Was way catchier on a repeat listen, which is pretty strange. Maybe this is still some Stockholm Syndrome based on what current DT is like.

This sounds a lot like they wanted to write As I Am again without explicitly copying its structure. It's not really anything to write home about, but it's safe Dream Theater so it's not bad. I don't know, maybe this will grow on me more because I definitely like it better than the last song...

Somehow I'm still obsessed with the idea of them performing most of their title tracks on this tour, which is why I ended up voting for No Prayer's title track, despite how horribly unlikely that song's chances are to be played.

I'm pretty sure they said they're going to record another show too next year. Specifically the Radio City Music Hall show in NYC, if I recall correctly. Portnoy said they wanted to have this tour documented in full.
