Screw the people. Maiden make music not for the people but for themselves. And a lot of us on this forum love that. So it don’t matter what people say as long as the fans know what’s really behind their music.

Won’t happen. Deep cuts tour may not sell as well. Besides, Steve might say he doesn’t wanna record cause it’s a challenge, etc but he’ll eventually come through. There is 1 more record in em for the road.

For a 2028 tour, we need a new album. They can’t do a. Greatest hits tour again following their touring pattern since the 2000s. Really hope they’re able to make the most out of 2027. Maybe spend early 2027 in studio for a launch in Sept 2027 and then hit the road early 2028 (Book of Souls style)

I feel Maiden is still more of a deep cut as a band. Commercial would be Sabbath, Floyd, Deep Purple, Metallica

Haven’t seen it yet but yeah, it’s a very “Steve” topic. Could name the song “Man and Monster”. Make it maybe 12-13 mins long and filled with catchiness but with a bit of a dark melody. Also can be a reflection on what mankind has done to the world (similar to Hell on Earth)

Well then you have only Bruce, Adrian and Janick. Dave barely writes and his ideas aren’t usually accepted (God knows what went wrong post dance of death). Can’t say anything about Simon.

Having more songs like The Parchment is really the reason I’m waiting for a new maiden album. And now it seems like we might have one in 2027
