Maybe it’s just me, but the taped intros on RFYL feel longer. Probably because I’m not the biggest fan of Killers (the album). Now The Future Past Tour: Doctor Doctor, Blade Runner, and then the CSIT intro built up the intensity perfectly.

I am listening to the audio recording of the San Siro show and I feel that the tape intro of The Ides of March is pointless. Why not just start with the tape intro of Murders in the Rue Morgue? Is it because of the video intro? What am I missing? It’s too much tape at the beginning imo.

The gods have spared us from a brutal recording of Aces Low. :applause: That is, assuming they will still use the Paris show for the live album/film.

I love this gem from 2018. I guess Nicko’s bass drum gave out around 6:19, which caused him to do an early snare hit at 6:24 which derails the whole thing. They find their way back and eventually the bass drum gets fixed around 8:10.

I’m not a drummer either, so I can’t speak as to how Simon plays vs Nicko. However, it’s gotta be the snare. Something sounds so strange about it to me. It’s a bit weak, and it doesn’t sound quite right. Although he does play well and has some good fills.

I think the Nights of the Dead version shits all over the LAD version. And LAD shits all over the RFYL version.

It’s funny how opinions are huh? On the contrary, I really don’t understand how so many people think it’s one of the strongest songs on the album. The drums are cool, but that’s about it (imo).

Because they are charging astronomical ticket prices in large venues, and many people are still buying them. Yes, they’d do better if the prices weren’t as high but the tour still looks like it’s going to be a success, contrary to what some might have you believe.

And you are just as annoying as I now come to expect. Maiden are doing fine, so fine in fact that this is the first tour that I cannot afford to go see them!

That is a breath of fresh air. I think it’s really needed in order for Bruce’s current voice to sound its best. Downturning a half step might even save Aces High from its ugly demise in the live setting.

Where are you all seeing the list of theaters/countries?

Dang, @ShadowOfTheGods really hates @Nomadd huh? Even if Nomadd makes wild claims, Shadow often overreacts with frustration. It’s kind of funny to read. I think the shows will mostly sell fine, but as a bitter US fan, I think it’s annoying how they went right back to doing a European tour...
