It's a strange choice not to let one song go, given that they were writing/had written what was intended to be a double album I'd have thought they'd have something in line to replace it.

I wouldn't call this unprofessional. Some of those solos are among the best and most iconic in metal, I think it's only fitting to pay tribute to the man who wrote them.

I don't know if I'd say it's a total rip off, but it made me think of "Seek and Destroy" straight away. The album has a lot of moments that echo other songs, mostly older Priest tunes, and I can't help but wonder if Richie's been instructed/is trying too hard to "make it sound like Priest"...
