I consistently run several times a week and the fastest pace I can reach instantaneously is still around 20% slower than the pace he held for nearly an hour.

I personally find Midnight Messiah is trying too hard with the number of references to other DT songs in the lyrics. It feels very forced whenever I listen to it.

I've had time to listen to the new album now - I definitely prefer it to the previous two albums!

The Night Flight Orchestra released their new album yesterday. I'm absolutely loving it so far:

I still think Night Terror is the best by far of the new songs released - the other two are completely unmemorable.

Provided the launch lineup is good there's a good chance I'll pick up Switch 2 day one. I love the core idea of the switch (even if I mainly play handheld) so all I really wanted was a beefier version of what we already had.

It's been a while since I last posted but I am still chipping away at the running 3-4 times a week. I recently got my fastest 10km time on my Garmin (56:30), and my Vo2 max is creeping up very slowly - it has finally hit 45, after starting at under 35 two years ago.

Pleasantly surprised by the new single, and I probably like it more than the material from the previous two albums.

The two Floor albums are opposites for me - I have no patience for Human II Nature, but EFMB might be my favourite album the band have done. I've not had the chance to listen to the new album in full yet, but I'm quietly hoping this one is closer to the latter.

Let's hope so - Saturday night and easy commuting distance would be ideal.

Hoping to get tickets to London - I have a lot of time for Halestorm as openers as well. A bit worried they'll sell out very quickly though, and due to the nature of work (teaching) I definitely won't be able to buy them immediately as they go on sale.
