I find both albums pretty mehh... I don't like the guitar sound on POM, but at least POM has a variety and several surprises. BNW is just boring. So I voted POM.

It wasn't always like that. Since they record almost everything live in the studio, they're quite fast, true. I wish they'd take more time to give their albums a chance of a growing process. Seventh Son e.g. would never sound that great if they recorded it live in the studio.

I've seen them twice few days ago, and it's possible they wanted to check out first how things would work with Simon and how he was welcomed by the fans. Crowd really likes him, so do I, and I guess they all feel well and comfortable with him.
