I happen to disagree mate but fair enough. I go to tons of Maiden gigs myself and that's not what see but no point in arguing.

It comes back to the whole " its all about the kids" argument from Rod. With all respect fuck the kids. 70% of the fans and the ones who spend a lot of cash on Maiden are balding oldies with their jeans halfway down their crack like me. And most of us want to see legendary 70's and 80's bands

I agree. Some of the comments after the RFYL set were ridiculous. A set that includes Phantom, 7th Son, Powerslave, Rime and a few early cuts that haven't been played for years. What more do people want?

Tbh I thought they might struggle with this. A big outdoor show in the UK last year, the location, costs to fans, the lineup it just doesn't seem as appealing.
Mixed emotions about Knebworth. Seen them at Soni in 2014 but it's just too difficult and expensive for me to get the Knebworth these days. Especially with hotels etc. On the other hand if they are taking 2027 off the earliest next UK gig will be 2028 which will be then 3yrs without a Maiden gig...
