    Bruce nasty to fans??

I met Alice Cooper and he was way cool. So was Steven Tyler. In fact, of all the famous people I've met (maybe over a dozen or so), the musicians were always cool. The pro athletes (other than Cal Ripken Jr.), were the ones that were d*cks.

Is Adrian's TWOTW solo better than SIASL????

Revelations trumps them all as far as I'm concerned.

Please post reviews and thoughts on Senjutsu here

I've only been through it once, and other than a couple Adrian solos, nothing has really jumped out at me yet. But that's ok. It usually takes me a while to absorb a new cd. To me, that's half the fun. Gradually hearing things as you get more familiar with the cuts. "Hey, that was cool! I...

If you were able to travel back in time and attend a show, which one would you choose?

Queen, for sure. That's the one that got away. Always loved them, never got to see them.

    Official American Football Thread

Oh well. At least I don't have to even think about football again until the fall. Got the Daytona 500 in 3 weeks, then a few weeks later, pitchers & catchers report. Life is good.

Where will Donald Trump be at noon, January 20th, 2021?

Well, it's been 5 days, and there's been no been no word of any retirement villages in Florida storming Denny's in protest of the Early Bird special. So, that's a good sign.

    Bruce beaing rude!?!

Well, that was the most surreal 15 minutes of my day.

Most favorite song from The Book Of Souls

I didn't know about this site when Book Of Souls was released, so I never saw this thread before today. One of those 'bump' deals, I reckon. Anyhow, after much gnashing of teeth, it came down to three. Death or Glory won out over The Red And The Black and The Great Unknown, solely on the basis...

    Bond, James Bond

I only own the 6 Bond dvds with Connery. That should tell you something.

Nights of the Dead, Legacy of the Beast: Live in Mexico City (new live album)

That's their choice. That's your choice. As far as this new cd, I won't be buying it. It has nothing to do with sound or art or any other topic discussed in this thread. I have all the Maiden I want. Around 20 albums or so. For me, that's plenty. I'm not gonna buy it just because it's...

Getting To The Show Is Half The Fun

Ok, this is the first thread I've ever started here, so I wanted a topic that would include everyone. After thinking on it for a while, I figured everyone here has been to concerts, but there's already plenty of concert threads, but I don't recall any pre-concert threads. The idea is to share...

    2 Minutes to Midnight

I voted 8. However, as with any song I really like (Maiden or otherwise), it's been a 10. It all depends on the mood I'm in. Everyone knows what I'm talking about, of course. Some days, music is just better.

5 Iron Maiden songs you wish to see before they retire.

The Duellists (The most overlooked cut in their history, IMO) The Red and The Black (Yea, I missed that tour) The Great Unknown (Ditto) Coming Home (Don't know if they did this one on that tour. Doesn't matter. I missed that one as well) Phantom of the Opera ( Just the sheer balls out in your...

    Van Halen

Eruption. 102 seconds that caused a paradigm shift in music and inspired a generation to pick a guitar. I remember when their first album came out. It was blasting in the high school parking lot between classes and for the entire lunch periods every single day for literally months. People...

How old are Maiden fans here?

Actually, I saw Priest in the late 70s in Philly. They opened for Kiss. Also, in the mid to late 70s, and into the early 80s, I saw Aerosmith, Ted Nugent, Pat Travers, Rush, Journey, and a few others. Actually, my concert going didn't really take off until the early to mid 80s.
