I have a friend that collects dolls from Japan that come with their own bio and everything. VERY expensive, but very detailed work with full range articulated joints.

Personally I find all of them creepy. It has nothing to do with the fact that I saw Chucky as a kid and most of my exposure to dolls of any kind have come from horror movies... I've always found them eerie.
