Good weekend for United. Three points, Arsenal lose, City and Liverpool draw. I'm worried about the run-in though. In the last 11 games, United will play City, Arsenal and Spurs away.

Next week is internationals week. Norway are going to Belfast in the first game after Lars Lagerbäck took over. I'm curious about what he will be able to do with the team.

@Ariana

Tomorrow: Bulgary - Netherlands in the Vasil Levski stadium, Sofia (World Cup qualification).

Trivia:

- Previous matches: 10. 4 victories for Bulgary, 4 for the Netherlands, 2 draws
- We never met in the nineties (no match with Hristo Stoichkov :/ ).
- Goal saldo: 17-14 for the Netherlands
- The Netherlands played 3 times before in Vasil Levski stadium and never won there
- If Daley Blind plays, he will pass his father Danny (current coach) in amount of caps (43 and 42)

Holy fuck. We were losing against Georgia but came back to win 3:1. We actually managed to come back from a losing situation against minnows. Apocalypse is near.

Also Tadić is a monster. He has 4 goals and 7 assists in 5 games in these qualifications. He scored or assisted all but one goal for us so far.

Matthijs de Ligt will make his debut. 17 years, old, the youngest player starting in Oranje in 86 years. Four other right foot central defenders are injured atm.

I wasn't expecting this at all! The Dutch looked very passive - their first shot on goal was around the 55th minute. On the other hand, we only had the ball 30% of the time in the first half, but had 4 shots on goal, two of them in. It's a rare display of efficiency on our side.

Congrats Ariana.

Talk about embarring. The worst match in decades. What a horrible performance that was. Everything went wrong. Missing the next big tournament is more and more likely.

Yep. He called the Bulgaria match an incident, thought Oranje was on the good way. He gave all he got. Kind of sad it had to end to suddenly but this loss got us in the danger zone big time. I hope a new coach changes something in the squad. I think every match has to be won from now on. Perhaps we can lose one, but it's highly risky. Van Gaal is rumoured to be the favourite candidate. He's eating good food in Portugal now, and doing not much else (sabbatical). We'll play Italy in a friendly this Tuesday. Without a new coach yet. Assistent Grim will lead the team. After that match, I guess it won't take very long to hear who is going to do it...
