It is awesome that you like Abbey Road. Have you heard The White Album? it is a much more heavy album and should suit you if you like Abbey...

I don't know why it has become one of the most famous(and most imitated) it just has...There is a 24/7 camera set up outside Abbey Road studios that films people crossing the same place..

The real iconic Beatles album cover is Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by the way :)

But surely you like this:

Here's a question: You won't believe it, but I actually like Abbey Road, the album. But can someone explain to me what the rage with the album cover is? I never understood why it's considered that special, or in any way special.

Easy to recreate? And it shows them in a slightly everyday setting

I think it just looks good...and it is just them crossing the street outside the Abbey Road studios....instead of something fantastic, supernatural or artful...

I think it was McCartney's idea to just go make a photo shoot outside the studio. So I imagine it wasn't much more than a break from the studio and then they'd use that for the album cover. Kinda cool to me :)

You Never Give Me Your Money is a good song for students ! :D
