It is awesome that you like Abbey Road. Have you heard The White Album? it is a much more heavy album and should suit you if you like Abbey...

I don't know why it has become one of the most famous(and most imitated) it just has...There is a 24/7 camera set up outside Abbey Road studios that films people crossing the same place..

The real iconic Beatles album cover is Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by the way

Here's a question: You won't believe it, but I actually like Abbey Road, the album. But can someone explain to me what the rage with the album cover is? I never understood why it's considered that special, or in any way special.

Easy to recreate? And it shows them in a slightly everyday setting

I think it just looks good...and it is just them crossing the street outside the Abbey Road studios....instead of something fantastic, supernatural or artful...

I think it was McCartney's idea to just go make a photo shoot outside the studio. So I imagine it wasn't much more than a break from the studio and then they'd use that for the album cover. Kinda cool to me
