News Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

Ha, imagine the did a deep cuts set next year and they only played it at about 5 Eddfest shows around Europe. The rage would be high up in here.

I've fantasized about them literally just playing like Hammersmith or Brixton for two nights in a row next year and it's just deep cuts for the fans who would appreciate them. It will never happen but I can dream.

So sure the set probably still ends with Iron Maiden and Hallowed, but before that it could be Montsegur, Judas be My Guide, The Edge of Darkness, Deja Vu, No prayer for the dying, The Prophecy, Back in the village, Blood on the world's hands etc

I have had sexier fantasies but it's still something I'd like to see

Hi. Anyone who can help me to locate wehre on this forum or elsewehre to find reliable ticket source/selling for sold ut Iron Maiden Concerts in South America, i.e. Brazil or Argentina? Thanks in advance.

I'm from Northern Ireland and there's definitely levels of cuntishness round my way.

Like some friends will greet eachother with "well, cunt." Or if my amigo says something silly like "England are gonna win the World Cup" I might respond with "fuck up, you daft cunt."

But yes, for some people that word is an absolute no-no and I do believe the English take it a bit more seriously than we do. In the case of Bruce the Greek I'd wager he said it cos it was the most offensive word in his lexicon.

But I doubt he hates all Greeks. Just a little diva tantrum.

Cunt cunt cunt. Love that word. My sister in law hates it. I try to refrain in her presence but if I do let it slip she visibly recoils. Makes me feel like a right cunt.
Its an Aussie thing to, c bomb here, there and f@cking everywhere.

I do enjoy a bit of burtalist Australian humour. Similar to the Scottish accent, you motherfuckers can make anythin funnier just by the accent. Like, Billy Connelly is a legend, my favourite, love the chap but I've often wondered if he would have made it if he had a Cockney accent.

We have some crackers,
We're not here to fuck spiders
The measurement system of (from smallest to largest (fuck all, bees dick, tidbit, smidgeon, heaps, shit loads), those 6 can measure absolutely everything.
Our different nicknames for different nationality's, Seppo/yank for Americans, kiwis for New Zealanders, Pommy/Prisoner of his/her majesty for anyone in the UK, it goes on, and on, and on.

I'm Irish and I relate to most of those. Different measurements but fuck all, fuckin loads, heaps, wee bit or a more colloquial one would be 'a wile pile' which means shit loads. Fuck all can also describe mood. A friend might ask how I'm doin by saying "any craic?" and I might reply "fuck all." And that would be that. No further probing required.

Some people round my way would say septic tank for yank, I'm assuming that's what a seppo is. I tend not to bother with slang for nationalities though, the recipients often don't like it and that's when the humour gets unfunny, or 'shite craic' as we would say over here. Like "yer man thinks he's funny but he's fuckin shite craic."

So a place where one can buy booze to take away. We call that an 'off licence.' Or a liquor store, in American. An Australian friend of mine used to call it the bottlo. Is that the term round your way?

I'm not able to drink yet, I've still got 12 months to wait. But normally liquor stores are called a shortened version of their actually name, bottlo does pop up every once and a while. And yes seppo means septic tank because most yanks are always full of sh!t, we save that name for the really dumb Americans, usually the MAGA ones. Yank is a bit more affectionate. Also if you weren't aware political correctness is not a common thing in Australia unless your from cities like Sydney or Melbourne, Brisbane's a different story. The more north you go, the more "strayan" people get, which is our version of the south, but more politicaly diverse.

Aye I don't mind bein politically incorrect but experience of people callin me Paddy or doin Irish accents at me made me think that it's not that funny :D

Although I lived in Iceland for 8 months and there was this big Icelandic lunatic I met in a bar one day who called me 'pikey' as in Irish traveller/gypsy kinda vibes. I warmed to it. Especially when I was in a random town or bar and I'd just hear this big voice from across the street shouting "hey, you fucking pikey, come here!" We would then proceed to drink like fuck. That worked, Paddy doesn't

I know exactly what you mean, there is a point where something is no longer funny, or people don't understand the context or pronounce something in an offensive way. For example the word Aussie (uh-zie) when pronounced incorrectly is incredibly irritating (mainly people saying ozzie), and then there's is constantly being called on convict/criminal because of how this country started. Keep in mind most places the British colonized started as penal colonies.

Ozzie and uh-zie, really? I'd say ozzie. We've always said/heard ozzie. Never ever heard it said the other way. Good to learn something new every day. And makes sense cos of the Aus pronunciation in Australia but still, feels way more natural to say ozzie. Either way, I'll never fall fowl of it though cos I always say Australian. Or antipodean cunt. My old Australian party mate from 20yrs ago in Belfast got called dingo cos dingo ate my baby. Or more accurately we called him a dingo eatin cunt.

Aye, the convict shit, that's the kind of stuff I find unfunny as fuck. For Irish read leprechauns, potatoes etc

Well my sister is as stereotypical Irish looking as it gets, long red hair, pale as can be, blue eyes, and obsessed with mashed and roast potatoes. Jokes about spuds are shite, but spuds themselves different story.
