Heathrow question

A question for people who have transferred at Heathrow before: Would the following transfer scenario be alright in terms of time?: A total of 1 hour and 20 minutes available - arriving at Terminal 3 coming in from the USA and then chage to Terminal 5 for the connecting to Germany? Just asking because I’ve heard here and there that Heathrow processes can be chaotic at times... Can anyone share their experience & what to expect?

Have never been to Heathrow, but I have flown into and out of the U.S from Phoenix, San Francisco, Dallas and Houston and No. That is not enough time if everything goes wrong. Your flight is late coming in, the lines are outrageous, they are short staffed, etc. Given this is from 2 months ago I hope you made it ok.

Thank you so much! The paperwork beforehand about a German/US wedding is pure madness, so the Heathrow question is just a small piece of the entire madness...
