Hansen - Feeding The Beast
First single from Kai's new solo album. Sounds vintage Kai, I enjoy it. The dreamy intro (that little melody at the beginning is so good) is classic GR, cool verses start with the rock riff, typical solid verses, and the chorus is effective (and memorable) enough. Nice short solo from him. The middle slower part is fitting and is a typical strong patter for his songwriting, especially paired (with short) harmony.
If I have to say a gripe, it's like Bruce's Ragnarok, much more vocals than instrumental for 5 minutes (longer intro, middle part, short solo and harmony). It was probably written being a single in mind.
Overall it sounds like a GR song from the last albums.
