So, we had fun tonight again.
One of the highlights for me was The Number of the Beast. Sometimes I forget how good that song is. Felt massive today. Infinite Dreams has been fantastic the whole tour, and Wasted Years is such a joy. In fact the entire encore was fun today. I was also amazed at the solo section in Seventh Son, but the quiet part goes on forever.
They did mess up Killers. Again. Sort it out for the next show please.
Adrian doubled Steve's bass line in Rime that comes just before the quiet part, and I started to wonder if he did in Sofia too. Man of the match was Dave, I am in awe of that man. May he never lose the speed and feel in his fingers.
Onto Bratislava!

That surprises me. Last year most people felt that Simon was keeping the band together, and I would have thought that if anything changed, he would become even better.
If Bruce tries to sing these songs in standard tuning when he's 70 his head will explode
Perhaps I'm being overly dramatic but it very much feels like certain individuals have stopped giving a shit at this point.

He just can't sing it. And I'm prepairing myself to suffer through the sub-par performance of the song with hopes that he doesn't fuck up his voice of Fear and Wasted Years too badly with it.

I’m not being over dramatic when I say this, but it does upset me when I hear them perform like this. It’s embarrassing. I am actually amazed that some fans have the ears to put up with it.

They played garbage like that Robin Williams song and the one with the monkey mask live didn’t they. I’d rather hear More Tea Vicar than those. Nothing wrong with Tailgunner at all. No one is saying it’s one of their top ten songs, it would be a nice addition to the setlist because they haven’t done it for thirty plus years.

Depends on the show, I suppose. When I saw them live last year, Simon was fantastic all around. He has a different style than Nicko, which is not a bad thing.

I think the same. I didnt see that he wasnt playing bad,maybe the sound was a bit weird because we are used to nicko. There were some sounds that were really heavy in some songs but i didnt felt that he was doing a bad show.
