Aces is most logical, but whole video is there (also featured in film), super popular, Bruce bringing his costume back, it seems to popular and now staple for encore to be dropped. They don't care for Bruce' voice it seems. Tailgunner is also about planes, video can be even reused and also much easier for Bruce to sing it. Plus they would bring it back after 33 years.
The comment from Bruce regarding the setlist in Athens is basically saying yes there will be a change this year or it`s a shit trick to sell more tickets.
Infinite Dreams over The Clairvoyant is spot on for me and Alexander would be an amazing bonus. Fingers crossed we aren`t being trolled , bring on Saturday 23rd to find out.
Aces can only be at the start of something. The whole set or a start of an encore. In 2022 they played 2 encores to fit it in... And it was much worse than 2019.
Infinite Dreams should replace Aces (maybe Clairvoyant), but should be moved to the main set with Clairvoyant or Hills for the encores (I hope not for the latter). Or Infinite for Clairvoyant and Evil for Aces.
Add Infinite, Alexander, 1 NPFTD song (title track or Tailgunner).... even another super bonus like Only The Good Die Young... and it would be one of their best setlists for me.
They might change a couple of songs, as wild as it sounds. They might play Alexander just for the 1st show (in Aces place). Imagine during the whole leg! I think Evil has a very good chance, Steve loves it.
I don't think they'll change any of the first opening songs, Clairvoyant is 50/50 (unless they decide to replace it with Evil; i don't want to lose Clairvoyant), 2 Minutes wasn't played during the last 2 tours and is a big hit, Seventh Son is kind of a centerpiece along with Rime, so I doubt it. Wasted Years? Naah, they love it, but I wouldn't be against that, despite the great screen art. Aces video is great for them/Bruce, but Bruce could have changed his mind, especially with the song in spoilers most likely being added. If they want a similar video, just play and use Tailgunner. A 50th anniv tour should have some really rare songs after all. If they change 3 songs, some of the first songs or a big epic could go.
Super rare songs like Only The Good Die Young (for example) will be saved for the next tour, which I expect to have a better balance between deeper cuts and classics.
I really hope the surprise for EddFest is Blaze joining Maiden for Iron Maiden or Wasted Years. Adrian hints something.

Since we're on the topic of moving things around... I also wonder whether they'll consider moving Run to the Hills; it's always sounded a bit out of place to me, between ROTAM and SSOTSS. All depends on the number of changes they will introduce, I suppose!
Saw this on Facebook and of course you guys are all over it already definitely some setlist changes coming for the second leg. Infinite Dreams seems very likely.
Interesting if there's more surprises for edfest as hinted y Adrian. Blaze doing a guest spot for a song would be cool.
Men that song is one of their worst opener and not openers. No prayer for the dying only has one option and its BYDTTS. They played it in 2003 that could be a change for aces high.

I preffer that they play infinite dreans with the aces high theme as background than one of the few changes that maiden has made in their setlist in history is tailgunner lol. No seriusky
Adding Infinite Dreams alongside Alexander the Great to the setlist would be an immense step in the right direction - both in terms of pleasing the fans and justifying the continuation of this tour.
Also, on this leg of the tour they’ll be playing more stadium shows… which means the stage setup won’t be as cramped. With the level of adventurousness they’ve shown lately, I think there’s a chance they might bring back the big inflatable Eddie. I mean, for Knebworth Park, it almost feels like a must.
I could see 2MTM being swapped for TETMD since Steve wants to play it and it's been out of the set since 2019, so the exact same amount of time as 2MTM was before last year. It'd also shorten the set by a few minutes which could be used to keep the length similar if Clairvoyant is indeed replaced by Infinite Dreams. Plus both are big hit singles so the trade would be quite natural.
I mean, it makes sense to have Infinite Dreams in the set. The book and the museum are both named after the song. It was a bit like years and years ago when they didn’t play Out of the Silent Planet on the Brave New World tour even though it was a single (excluding a couple of shows)

I'm still a bit mad the original plan was very likely they'd play it and The Fallen Angel as the bonus tracks for the Rock in Rio show/live album but instead replaced them with fucking RTTH.
