Yes but they dont do thatThe difference is, Nicko hasn't, by their own admission, entirely left Maiden. Nicko appearing with Maiden thus isn't the same thing as a guest apperance.
But we have seen so often, constantly over the past 40 years. I think it is much more exciting to see Maiden now with Simon.I really hope Nicko comes out and plays a few songs. It would be so cool.
In no way does that mean that won't happen at this particular gig, because again, this is uncharted territory as the festival is an explicit celebration of Maiden. Nor does it mean it will happen, but "Nicko hasn't appeared before" isn't a definitive argument here.Yes but they dont do that

No, but this is an unusual show though, and Nicko isn't really a guest. So we'll see - I'm not expecting him to play, but hoping and consider it the likely show for it to happen at, if it ever happens.I mean they dont usually bring guest to the show
I think there are more chances to see one or two songs changed in the set than nicko playing with them but who knowsNo, but this is an unusual show though, and Nicko isn't really a guest. Who let the bot in?Quite logical expectations. Maiden rarely miss Europe, and the festival format looks very likely. America is also almost guaranteed to be on the tour. If the announcement is in September, it fits into their usual strategy. We just have to wait for details and dates.
Monkey's paw: They'll play Running Free and Nicko will join them on bass, in a bizarre callback to Adrian joining the boys at Donington 92.No, but this is an unusual show though, and Nicko isn't really a guest. I think 2 guys played on stage with them blaze and adrian. Maybe in the early days and apart of the public on heaven can wait.Monkey's paw: They'll play Running Free and Nicko will join them on bass, in a bizarre callback to Adrian joining the boys at Donington 92.
Blackfoot joined Maiden onstage for a cover of Tush at Reading 82, I do believe.I think 2 guys played on stage with them blaze and adrian. Maybe in the early days and apart of the public on heaven can wait.
Thats what i tried to say LOLBlackfoot joined Maiden onstage for a cover of Tush at Reading 82, I do believe.
But yes, Maiden don't make a habit of fuckin with the show for shits and giggles.
They're gonna do it in 2026, just you watchThats what i tried to say LOL
Maybe but i think there are more chances of song changesThey're gonna do it in 2026, just you watch
He could play with titanium tart but would be very amateurI'm sure Nicko will be at Knebworth. I don't know about Paris, but he can't miss the first EddFest. I don't know if he'll play a song or two, but he'll definitely be there. If he does play, I think it will be a second encore or something, but not Running Free. It should be a song he originally recorded with the band imo. I'd say the Trooper, but I kinda don't want it to be the Trooper.
Would be nice to get a box set from Knebworth. Might as well throw in the Paris gig as well.Knebworth, Running Free at the end, Nicko and Dennis both on stage, Simon on camcorder like Janick in '92.
Althoooough, they said that Paris would be filmed. So mayhap McBrain will do a tune then. The whole encore? Or out for Running Free at the end?
I think the latter is a more viable option. Have Simon do the full set proper cos he's the drummer and bring out our Henry out for a touch of pizzazz at the end.
It would certainly make Eddfest a little extra special and add a touch of something something to the live release.
Probably won't happen but sure what's a little speculation for the nation?
Blaze as well please. Even if singing anything in E tuning is probably still an issue for himKnebworth, Running Free at the end, Nicko and Dennis both on stage, Simon on camcorder like Janick in '92.
