The real king of rock and roll!

I was fortunate enough to see him live. :) An absolute legend.

From those three I´d put Sin 1st, then Class and Steel (probably a bit overrated) as a 3d.
I prefer the trio Vengeance/Defenders/Turbo though.
I love Screaming for Vengeance and Defenders of the Faith. Turbo as a whole - not so much, though “Reckless,” “Locked In,” and “Turbo Lover” are very good.

My point is: whatever they do, they should stop trying to recreate the Painkiller style - or anything too similar. Either find a new direction or go back to their roots. The problem is, that’s nearly impossible now, because the original guitarists aren’t there anymore.

Painkiller is their best album for me. I have to listen to the last 2 albums.

I’m starting to really love this track. I just love Tarja’s vocal timbre and all its nuances. Her voice truly shines in contrast with the heavy music. I even think there isn’t enough of Tarja’s singing on this track.

2:11 i love the metal god but here ripper owens goes really up. Amazing singer and this song i think its better than with rob

I agree, Rapid Fire is better with Ripper's singing/approach. Definitely more impactful. The middle part of the song is perfect, he also sings Metal Gods with more aggressive vocals. The song fits his style with the band very well, they even re-recorded it for the Demolition album - and the heaviness suits it. Both of his live albums with the band are strong.

Both live cds with ripper are great. I feel that there is no good live cd with halford in his best. Or the set list is with old songs or the next is in 2005 or later. Nothing in 1992.
