Judas Priest - Living Bad Dreams

If Rob had changed the way he sang the title line (still effective), this would have been another highlight from the album if it was included, especially the instrumental section. I love the intro (classic Priest), the song has a bit of a Nostradamus vibe (with Ripper-like verses). A forgotten strong piece. Their songwriting was at a peak during Painkiller sessions.

I just love the bass solo and I think this could have been a title track (especially the chanting of the chorus; others could have been - Sign, Flies, Judgement). The urgent riff, solos and overall vibe are so TXF and work perfectly. The verses are some of the best from the Blaze era. The song is even heavier live.
Funny you should say that - Blood on the World's Hands was the tentative title for the album before it was changed to The X Factor

Happy Birthday Janick! :hbd: One song from each of his bands/collaborations. :rocker:

White Spirit - Fool For Gods (an early epic, the melodies would have been perfect Maiden-ized, very cool solo, an interesting song for 1980)
Gillan - Bluesy Blue Sea (that ancient-sounding riffing is so Janick)
Bruce Dickinson - Son Of A Gun (an essential sounding song for him, with acoustic parts too)
Iron Maiden - The Alchemist (a fast and melodic banger, more such songs please)
