I wonder if Bruce will release the next album sooner too - I mean, 66 ideas, 18 demo songs, he said the new album will be 9-11 songs. He's going to do a big tour in 2027, likely with a 2nd leg in 2028 (shorter because of Maiden's return), so 2029 for development and recording and 2030 for release. With his new solo band, an album every 3 years is possible, right. They obviously have a lot of ideas. He doesn't like to rush things, maybe it depends on the success of the upcoming album? In an interview from this year, Bruce said that the new album will be a real statement and that he can't wait for people to hear it live. Big promise, he hasn't said such things about TMP. Let's hope so.

I am looking forward to the album, but I am trying not to expect too much again.
I still remember how he said Sonata was such a (feminist) statement, and then it came out and I thought, it sounds a bit like a demo
and what statement?

This statement:

Save me now, save me now
Save me now, save me now
Save me from this pain
Save me now, save me now
God save me, help me live again, again

Reading these lyrics, it’s pretty clear that a woman is suffering. She deeply regrets choosing a feminist way of life—emancipation and all that. Because of it, she can no longer feel joy in life. Men appear rotten to her, and the world itself seems frozen and decaying.

So yes, in that sense, this song is a feminist statement. A queen longs to be saved by her once-king on a white horse, clad in shining armor. After this noble renunciation, they will both live happily ever after. That, obviously, is the ultimate goal.

No, it would simply have made us realize you likely weren't high when typing.
It’s somewhat tiring to have to explain every time that I’m joking. Do you really think that, being pro-European, centrist, and anti-Trump, I would be so stupid as to be anti-woman, etc.?

Hmm… I can only admit that the joke itself was either not funny or poorly executed. The poster above mentioned ‘feminist,’ I remembered ‘Save me now,’ and thought I’d try some reverse psychology in my response/explanation. Looks like my attempt missed the mark—or was simply not funny. Sorry for that.

Edit: I’ve never tried pot or anything like that. There was a period when I drank alcohol above the norm, but that was ten years ago. Today, I’m sober and creative—ha ha.

That’s the whole point of using smileys to make up for the lack of body language display, tone of voice and delivery you get when you speak to somebody irl. Without them, it is very easy to misunderstand. For instance, had I added a smiley you would have understood without a doubt that I was in fact joking too, which instead I have to reference afterwards instead.
