Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

Also spotted in London.

And a moderator now posting all over the FC that Cardiff isn't happening and telling people to cancel their hotels.
Ah well, luckily I've booked accommodation near Cardiff and Knebworth just incase, Cardiff would have been cool but im assuming now that Knebworth could possibly be a festival of sorts

I don't understand what the purpose of not simply announcing the city is. Moderators who have to ask fans to cancel their hotel reservations is a bit ridiculous.

Sorry, what are people booking hotels for when the venue isnt announced? Thats their own idiocy and moderators have no responsibility for it. Besides anything else, the tickets arent on sale yet, so even if the venue was known, no one should be booking a hotel before they've even got a ticket for the gig

What is your assumption as to why the location of the UK show has not been announced?
If it is supposed to be one of those games with clues, someone out of touch with the real world must have come up with it.
It is too important to be able to plan that summer 2026 for such a game.

I might be alone in thinking this, but it is frankly stupid (and disrespectful to fans who travel to see the band) to announce the date but not the location.

Nothing wrong with booking refundable hotels in advance. I have done that in the past based on rumoured dates and saved a significant amount of money as the prices skyrocketed once the Maiden concerts were confirmed.

to build a bit of hype while people wait for the announcement, and to announce it on its own to highlight it more, and its probably going bigger again than West Ham last year are my guesses

agreed, but I assume the original poster meant bookings without free cancelation, as there would not be any reason why people would be upset with canceling a booking with a free cancelation

But it is a fact that the moderators are intervening. I also find it all a bit ridiculous. I wish the city had been named and the mystery was just what kind of special show it is.

You can also do like me. The date for Bergen in 2023 was in the opening post of the tour speculation thread on the fc, and I still didn't book. Ended up with a fairly expensive hotel that time.

Sorry to hear that!

For the SBIT show in Merida in 2008 I went as far as booking two rooms in a hotel in town (one for my wife and me, the other for a good friend and his wife) in advance. My mate was really grateful when he realised that me being quick (rather than dead) had saved him 150.00€!
