Ghost don't have a gimmick, they are a gimmick. Slipknot have a gimmick, but they're still about their style of aggressive music. The music (I hate them) is the focus and the important part of the show.

Ghost are just a gimmick band with simple, straightforward music, like KISS or Rammstein.

It's not elitism. It's an opinion and taste, two things that differ in every person.

To me KISS are no more a serious band than The Darkness or bloody Spinal Tap. They're a joke designed to sell comic books, lunch boxes and action figures.

Opinions don't have to converge. Everyone has them, and they often differ. I find twatty bands like Ghost repugnant, cheesy rubbish that cater to the simple, straightforward, non-album oriented Spotify randomised artist playlist consuming kids who just want to nod their heads to an earworm. So what?

This is a splendid example of acting like a music elitist.

"I find twatty bands like Iron Maiden repugnant, cheesy rubbish that cater to the simple, straightforward, Devil-worshipping kids who just want to nod their heads to an earworm. So what?"

That sounds like things like conservative (music elitist) parents would say in the 80s. Congratulations.

I think the main difference between Ghost and Kiss is that Tobias can actually write good songs.

Well just the one song he struggles with that i`m aware of and it`s been done to death on here. Great song , great video backdrop great singalong for the crowd, if that`s the only issue i`m happy .

You talk some fucking shit. YOU insert the term "devil worship" and then say I sound like a conservative.

Anyway, my opinion is as above. I don't give a shit what you want to label it, some music is shit to me (just as some music is shit to someone anywhere else). I don't understand how you think some who says another band is crap is being elitest. It's just a matter of my personal taste.

Yes. The point of it is that you throw around almost the same kind of shit that people did regarding Heavy Metal. It's simple, it's gimmicky, it's for idiots that want to nod their heads to an earworm. Talking like that is being a music elitist. Saying a band is nothing more than a gimmick is elitist. If you get this upset by comparing two very similar quotes to another (one being 100% real), then maybe you should start thinking of what you say.

I’m aware it has been discussed lots on here. I have contributed lots to the discussion. My point is that I think the fans should worry more about the quality of the music that is being performed as opposed to the visuals.

I don’t see how anyone can listen to Aces High or Hallowed from this last tour and say that the way Bruce singing them is at all acceptable. It is embarrassing. We should demand higher standards from a band that are charging high prices for their tickets.

That being said, he is still nailing most of the songs on the setlist. Phantom and Killers sounded incredible. I was also impressed with how he handled SSOASS.

I don`t think one difficult to sing classic song that`s not up to scratch should constitute needing to worry given the rest of the performance was spot on. I agree and have commented exactly this, the music should be first and not the visuals, i didn`t consider either to be a problem.
