RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

They have an early start so maybe. Looks like they have allowed 2 hours and 15 minutes for the show, which usually lasts a bit under 2 I think.
I'd be very surprised if they extended the set. But if they did it would be to get Nicko on stage for a few additional songs. It'll just be a bummer for anyone else attending this tour. But I don't think it'll happen.

I think they might release the traditional live video of 1 song from the London show, like they did with Stranger from Wacken in 2023 (also started during daylight). Starting earlier than usual means they won't release the whole live concert.

As for surprises, I don't expect one or two extra songs (Boots will be thematic for the show, while Evil That Men Do deserves to be in the set), that's not their thing. I think the best we can hope for is to see Nicko on stage, whether he plays or not. Since the show time has been extended.

Since the show time has been extended.

We'll see! The showtime thing might very well be just making sure that they'll get the whole show out of the way before the curfew, even with potential delays or technical difficulties.

E.g looking at all the event bureaucracy for the show in Helsinki, the "showtime" slot was basically announced for 20:50-23:00, but the announcement & permission etc. for the event included the possibility of the showtime extending as late as 23:55.

I gave a big shout out to Maiden on BBC World Service this morning. I was the in-studio guest for 3 hours, and the BBC asked me beforehand if there was a non-world affairs story I'd like to talk about. They even brought in the music journalist Ian Winwood (who wrote the Telegraph review last week) to speak to me about Maiden's enduring appeal!

The BBC presenter Julian Worricker was gracious enough to allow it into the schedule! We spoke about Maiden for about 5 minutes, why this London show tonight is special, and what their appeal is. Clips of 11:58 and Run to the Hills as well.

Very much aimed at a worldwide non-metal listener ship. Great fun, far from the usual serious geopolitics and wars ....
The Telegraph review that Bruce was taking the piss out of at Manchester?
