Officially that has not been closed. Willcock claimed bunch of stuff, but we don't know for sure.Definitely not. Original lyrics by Dennis Willcock then somewhat modified by, most probably, Steve. So zilch.
Did we ever get an answer about why Steve wasn’t credited on Charlotte in the first place? Seems like a weird oversight considering he has credits on every other song from the first two albums.Except when Arry suddenly remembered it was his lyrics. So zilch anyway.

I can only guess that back then, knowing he had next to nothing to do with this song, he generously let all credits go to Dave.Did we ever get an answer about why Steve wasn’t credited on Charlotte in the first place? Well that’s the other side of my question I guess, as I would assume Charlotte was closer to any other Murray/Harris composition where Harris wrote the lyrics and most of the music based around a couple riff fragments from Dave.I can only guess that back then, knowing he had next to nothing to do with this song, he generously let all credits go to Dave.
