RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Can't believe that Eddie survived the first production rehearsal.
Actually that makes perfect sense. They saw the thing at rehearsal, went "ah fuck it's crap" and had to roll with it until they could get a replacement since I doubt the big Eddies are exactly put together by the crew in an afternoon with whatever supplies they had at the local arts and crafts shop.

Are we sure this one isn't fanmade? It's not on any of Maiden's official channels.
I don't know, I found it at Maiden Italy FB profile.

Good point.

Although they could have gone with just a walk-on Eddie during Iron Maiden.

After all declarations and promises, they must (or should) propose something really special to fulfill their expectations. Everything we see on former tours will be received as "average/disappointing" or something.

Translation from their message:
This image is going around and it seems to come from some official footage, maybe from the documentary film or from the intro for the 2025 shows. In reality it is very likely that it is just a reinterpretation of the image published by Maiden yesterday made through artificial intelligence.

But the replacement one was essentially the one they used on the GMETID tour. All it took them was a trip to the warehouse!

Another incentive is the more they switch the show to lots of special effects, the less the band needs to move around while playing... The Legacy show was genius for this, it slightly camouflaged their advancing years and takes some pressure off running around too much.

I mean, they still seem to be as active as they usually are as of late. It's not like Dave and Adrian were notoriously active with their stage presence back then.

I think it should be a great tour. Of course you won't please everyone but I'm sure a lot of planning and work went into this to try and make it the best ever. And as much as I love Nicko I think that Simon could certainly bring a new spark to the band. Will see.
