I've followed pretty much the same concept (cf here) but I've been less optimistic as regards the length of the set. I hope I'm wrong! ;)

I've been less optimistic as regards the length of the set
When it comes to total length, both setlists are clocking at roughly the same time of their last setlists. Besides ROTAM, HBTN, POTO and FOTD (a total of 35 minutes, give or take) plus longer versions of RF and BYDTTS for sing along parts, the majority of the setlist is composed of songs nearby the 4-minute mark. So, 18 tunes don't seem like a stretch to me in these cases.

The sing along last time was 3 times and very quick.

I have more or less the same list less wasted years and moonchild. Would love to see that

I saw many of you put to tame a land rime and phantom. I thought it was just me. The others i doubt its killers, murders, still life, infinite dreams. Tailgunner or other song than bydtts from npftd for me has 0 chances

I agree with the No Prayer part. Only Daughter is possible. To Tame a Land won't be played, me thinks, but 3 epics are possible. Maybe Rime, Phantom and Seventh Son or Alexander once again or something.

From SIT i think wasted years or stranger in a stranger land have chances. The other side would be no representation of the album or one they didnt play in the last tour. Loneliness maybe?

Realistically it will be Wasted Years, but I think Alex has a better chance than anything else from that album

In terms of 'epics', I don't think Seventh Son and Rime would be played on the same tour. AtG would be shelved as well and I think if any Somewhere in Time song would get carried over from The Future Past, it'd be Wasted Years (or Stranger or HCW.)

Loneliness would be an interesting addition, but that's another classic 'easier to whistle than sing' song for Bruce.

Ι mean, if you look at the last 3-4 tours, all of them have more than 2 epics in the setlist.
Future Past: Death of the Celts, Alexander, Hell on Earth and almost all the songs are 6+ mins long ( except Stranger, Wasted Years and DOFP)
Legacy pt2: Senjutsu, SOTC, Clansman + Hallowed and some other 6+ mins songs
Legacy pt1: Clansman, SOTC, FTGGOG + the same
BOS: The Red and the Black, TBOS, Powerslave, If Eternity...
They like lengthy songs nowadays and the 9 first albums haven't that many of them. So Seventh Son + Rime is a possibility alongside Phantom, Fear and Hallowed, because all the other songs will be shorter and some of them will be 3-4mins long.
Loneliness is indeed very difficult for Bruce, Tame also.

I would say Rime's return is a no brainer. I don't see any particular reason to bring back SSOASS to be honest, but Bruce expressing interest in it publicly makes me think that it has a decent chance. I wouldn't surprised if both Rime and SSOASS end up in the set, especially with the band leaning heavily into pretty short/uptempo songs. The trio of Rime/SSOASS/Infinite Dreams is probably enough to satisfy the proggy side while the rest of the set would be hits/uptempo oriented. I expect Phantom, Hallowed, Fear of the Dark as well of course, but I think that's it for songs above 6 minutes.

Ironically, including both Seventh Son and Rime would have been a good way to give Nicko some rest during the show.

They could even play these 6 + Revelations or Powerslave or something like that (7mins long song) and they would still have room for 10 other songs (that are less than 6 mins each), if the set is as long as the last few tours (1h and 40-50mins including Bruce's speeches)
