Last month official IM shop had this Mystery Tour Shirt thing where you could buy three tour T-shirts from the last 10 years for 38 euro (with postage it came around 45). Still, it was a steal getting three official shirt for 38 euros considering new ones go over 40 euros a piece.
I've always asked what happens to the merchandise that is left over after the tour. Last couple of tours you could buy them online, but that was only since LOTB onward.
Quite coincidentally, I have seen them on every tour in last 10 years (except 2017 one) and haven't bought a single tour shirt so this was a no-brainer. Last week package arrived and what I got is this:
I must say I was surprised that I got event shirts, but when you think about it - it makes sense. I mean, I doubt I would get those Akirant ones (Flight of Icarus/Sign of the Cross and Alexandar the Great/Hell on Earth) as they are probably sold out.
But the most important thing is that now I could see/feel how the quality of the shirt gotten worse (design on the event shirts are a thread for itself). Not only that the shirt itself is thinner in 2018 version, print is also worse and much more... plastic? IDK, I have a feeling that the whole print on Scandinavian one will fall off after a couple of washings. (Note, my SBIT tour one has just started to fade away and I've been wearing it constantly since 2008). But I don't plan wear it as much as first two (Germany one and Aces High).
All in all, it was a great deal, glad I did it.

Strange that still there is no shirt update in the official store yet. Summer at its heights and no new shirts? I guess they will do only after Brunos solo tour has finished.

Anybody knows what's the matter with the official Maiden shirt store? Last update with new shirts been months ago... Spring, and no new Maiden wear yet?
