Worst Track by Track

Ancient Mariner
Well, inspired on the best track by track poll and by Moonchild33's Mega's reminder note, let's go:

01-Futureal
02-The Angel And The Gambler (These Colours Don't Run and 2 Minutes To Midnight right behind)
03-No Prayer For The Dying
04-The Pilgrim (Blood Brothers and Fear Is The Key right behind)
05-The Longest Day (The Mercenary right behind)
06-Still Life (Run To The Hills right behind)
07-New Frontier
08-For The Greater Good Of God
09-The Apparition (Lord Of Light right behind)
10-The Legacy
11-The Unbeliever

1. Wildest Dreams
2. Sanctuary
3. Afraid To Shoot Strangers
4. Montsegur
5. Childhood's End
6. The Assassin
7. Run Silent Run Deep
8. Total Eclipse
9. The Edge of Darkness
10. Mother Russia
11. Weekend Warrior
12. The Number of the Beast (Maiden England)

I've always considered NPFTD and FOTD great albums despite them being the weakest but their inferiority does show here with 3 each and half of the 12 taken up.

Not a bad start if it were an album but tracks 5-12 are what show maidens darkest days.

08-For The Greater Good Of God
09-The Apparition (Lord Of Light right behind)
10-The Legacy
11-The Unbeliever

I like how most of these songs are my favourites.

1. Tailgunner
2. The Angel and the Gambler (no competition here.)
3. No Prayer for the Dying
4. Fear is the Key (but I do like this track, just weaker than other songs. I feel kinda guilty haha.)
5. When Two Worlds Collide (but that was hard. I really like this track.)
6. Run to the Hills (I like The Assassin, but it's definitely right there after RTTH)
7. Don't Look to the Eyes of a Stranger (I would like the song more if it didn't sound familiar. :) but the song is great.)
8. Chains of Misery (that chorus is just soo bad. but I like the rest of the song.)
9. The Apparition
10. Age of Innocence
11. Listen with Nicko! Part VI. (Just cuz. ahahahahah. great laugh though. love Nicko.)

DAAANG. I didn't think that would be harder than the best track by track thread, but it was. I like most of the tracks on there. Really shows how good of a band Maiden really is. . .

Yeah, 'cos although they're not my faves, they're still very good songs, except some from AMOLAD which range from weak to mediocre. Even a 'worst of' like this makes for a great listening CD from time to time.

If I'd give you my 'worst of' CD as a Xmas gift, you'd be very pleased with your Santa Claus here, ahn, Moonchild33?

HEY, it was my idea first :P

01 - Tailgunner. It's a cool little song, but their worst opener.
02 - The Angel and the Gambler. Surprise surprise ;)
03 - Murders In The Rue Morgue. It's a great song but Maiden have awesome No. 3's.
04 - Public Enema Number One. Fear is the key was close, but this one has colonics in it's name.
05 - When Two Worlds Collide. Maiden have awesome No. 5's, except this one.
06 - Innocent Exile. Same as 3.
07 - Don't Look to the Eyes of a Stranger. Repetitive stranger at that.
08 - Hooks In You. Chains of Misery right behind it, it's hard to decide.
09 - The Apparition. LOL
10 - Twilight Zone. Same as 3.
11 - Weekend Warrior. And I'm not doing 12.

That's it, Maiden's worst album track by track.
I'd pay double the cost of a regular show to watch them doing this live in Israel, but still their worstXD

Also I agree with Moonchild about Jeff's list!

A Perun sighting at a silly poll! Rejoice!

1.  Invaders
2.  From Here to Eternity
3.  Losfer Words (Big 'Orra)
4.  Fear is the Key
5.  The Duellists
6.  Back in the Village
7.  New Frontier
8.  Hooks in You
9.  The Apparition
10. Age of Innocence
11. Weekend Warrior

Nope. This is a double topic, see here.

My choice changed slightly:

1.  Wildest Dreams
2.  The Angel and the Gambler
3.  No More Lies
4.  Montsegur
5.  When Two Worlds Collide
6.  Back in the Village
7.  New Frontier
8.  Chains of Misery
9.  Face in the Sand
10. Drifter
11. Journeyman

6 songs from DOD. And no, I do not find it a great listening, and I wouldn't even pay half the regular concert price to see these songs.

1) Wildest Dreams
2) Holy Smoke
3) Losfer Words
4) Another Life
5) Gates of Tomorrow
6) Innocent Exile
7) New Frontier
8) Chains of Misery
9) Edge of Darkness
10) Twilight Zone
11) Drifter

1. Invaders
2. Sanctuary
3. Can I Play With Madness
4. Public Enema #1
5. The Duellists
6. Run to the Hills
7. Quest for Fire (big shocker)
8. Como Estais Amigos
9. The Apparition
10. Age of Innocence
11. The Unbeliever

I'll probably get hated on for some of this

Trooper
Run to the hills
Apparition
holy smoke
hooks in you
gangland
out of the shadows
wasting love
Hollowed... :S  :ninja:

1. Wildest Dreams
2. The Angel and the Gambler
3. Running Free
4. Fear is the Key
5. When Two Worlds Collide
6. The Assassin
7. Don't Look to the Eyes of Stranger
8. Hooks in You
9. The Apparition
10. Age of Innocence
11. Weekend Warrior

This is a fun one. Mostly No Prayer and Fear of the Dark for me

1. Tail Gunner (Wildest Dreams holds some personal resonance for me, so yeah)
2. The Angel and the Gambler
3. No Prayer for the Dying
4. Fear is the Key (Public Enema Number One's name aside, it's the best damn song on that album by far)
5. Fate's Warning
6. The Assassin
7. OH DEAR GOD GANGLAND
8. Hooks in You (but this was by far the hardest decision, because I actually really like that song, I'm just more likely to skip it than any of the other number 8s, except Nomad but I only skip that one sometimes because it's very long and feels long but I still like it.)
9. The Apparition (incidentally the second easiest choice, because I just can't stand Gangland)
10. Mother Russia does nothing for me
11. Weekend Warrior. Nothing against it really, but there's some pretty damn stiff competition.

Gangland's not that bad, its far better then Invaders, Run to the Hills, or hell for that matter 2 Minutes to Midnight as well.

Oh man, we very much disagree. Gangland is by far my least favorite song by any of my favorite bands. That's right no other band I love (not bands I have a passing interest in, bands that I own the full discography of, go to all of their shows etc.) that has a song I like less than Gangland.
