The Wild Card Round
The qualifying round is almost over. Twenty-four of 32 spots in the World Cup have been filled.
Eight spots remain.
The contenders are the acts that finished third and fourth in each qualifier:
Dire Straits, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Van Halen, Motorhead, UFO, Gamma Ray, BOC, Ozzy, Scorpions, Queensryche, King Diamond, Savatage, Jimi Hendrix, Hammerfall, Saxon, Stratovarius
I was going to finish this off in one shot, but the software doesn't allow more than 10 choices, so we will have to do it in two parts.
You may vote for your picks for up to four bands. The top four vote-getters in each wild card poll will move into the round-robin. The rest will be eliminated.
