Where are they now?

(Sorry if this has been done before, but I've searched a lot and didn't find it)

I think it would be very interesting to have a full listing of what former band members are doing today and what they have been up to since they left the band.

I'll start with one band member and hopefully other forum members can fill in info on others:

Paul Mario Day: Original lead vocalist from 1975 to 1976. Later formed the band More: Lead singer in Wildfire from 1983 to 1984. Lead Singer in The Sweet in 1986. Moved to Australia in 1986 and retired as a vocalist in 1992 after having been vocalist in cover bands of Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin. Came out of retirement in 2006 and sang for a local band called Gringos. Currently sings for a local band called Defaced, and sings and writes songs for a band called Crimson Lake. Complete his design degree i 2009 and now owns and runs a graphic design business with the name Boxkite Vision.

I swear I have no idea what you're talking about or who this person is.  But if you're comparing him to me he must have been a pretty solid dude.

checks old threads for mention of this person

Oh.  Well then.  *sneaks out quietly*

Waste of time, his name is forbidden now. Even if I want to write his name, it's filtered. He was the One.  :ninja:
I believe if he was not the Almighty, his posts would be similar to thy. His User rating, too  :D

It's not forbidden. You just need to be clever. Watch this: Maverick!
On topic, Boneyard said yesterday was Dennis Stratton's birthday. ... <crickets>

I just asked a normal question and tried to start a normal topic.

If that's not possible on this forum (very strange replies, in my opinion), then b*ll*cks to it!

Relax mate. I honestly don't know what the older members are up to now - save for what snippets we saw in the Early Days. Things have a way of going on a tangent here.

As of early 2008, Maiden's very first drummer -could be Doug Sampson or someone else in an even earlier stage (?), plays acoustic guitar under the Acropolis, Athens, for some coins. Really.
At least this is what Alex told me. Alex is a Sound Engineer, who too, plays occasionally under the Acropolis for some coins. He was once assistant of Alan Parsons.  :D

Ron "Rebel" Matthews is Maiden's original drummer.

thought this was relevant here

dennis stratton was on an episode of never mind the buzzcocks (a british music comedy show) a few days ago. He was in a line of people and the celebrities had to guess which one was a previous member of iron maiden.
