If I may ask, did you still have contact with him afterwards (e.g. in the months August, September)?
I wonder if he told anyone that he's taking a break from the forum or something?

I've wondered the same thing, even posed the question on the forum a few weeks back.
When nobody answered, I figured it was private.
He's definitely missed.

Actually, I must confess that I thought of him when I learned the news of the Aurora shooting.
I remember that he took more breaks from the forum in the past, but (and I might be mistaken here) hardly so long.

When nobody answered, I figured it was private.

He is a mod, so perhaps there's some information available.
