To me..Maiden has always been the best music for me...nothing compares to it. They are considered a metal band but to me they really are their own genre. They combine metal, Alternative, classic rock, blues, classical and opera(because of Bruce's unlimited vocal range). on top of that they have written some of the best lyrics I've ever heard or read. I also listen to Rush, Early Metallica, Fuel, Breaking Benjamin, Boston,Clapton,Queen, Chicago(I must admit),Zeppelin,Live,Priest,Deep purple,Cream,Trans Siberian Orchestra,Triumph,Shinedown and some classical to name a few. I'm interested to learn what else you guys listen too(maybe theres some great stuff I haven't heard yet)....
