Full time journalist, part time translator.
Well same here, only difference being I write as a free lancer for 5 magazines here in Paris and do a few translation works on top of that whenever the bank accounts send me a that special "red alert" signal.
The funny thing is that in the first place (13 years old) I wanted to be a journalist to be able to write about metal and meet the guys in Maiden -which I did, a few times each- but right now I don't write much about that anymore. Try to survive in France as a heavy metal journo & you'll soon realise it's a better option to widen your horizons. So it's mostly music but all kinds of...plus books and graphic novel reviews or big articles about a given subject (actually did one 5 page report on girls & metal in a big french mag. They liked it very much, especially the pictures [!--emo&

An offer they couldn't refuse had I figured out...Too bad, but the pics from Bruce & the boys didn't have quite the same impact as the ones from Evanescence, Lacuna Coil or Nightwish...
