Stratovarius are preparing a new album entitled Popkiller the first to feature their new vocalist Miss K. Anders Johannson elected not to join them as he is already a member of Hammerfall, so the bands leader Timo Tolki is talking to a Finnish drummer and will probably announce his name very soon. In other news Sanctuary has sued Tolki and claims back a million US dollars out of the three million contract that the band signed last year.

The new U.D.O. studio album Thunderball is due shortly, but to fill in time before it's release, a special advance teaser DVD will be released on February, 23rd 2004. It will include:
2 non-album-video-clips including a "making of" the song Thunderball as an advance -audio-track + video clip; 2 additional bonus non-album-audio-tracks and a U.D.O.

Former Iron Maiden/Wolfsbane singer Blaze Bayley will release his new Blaze album Blood & Belief in the first half of 2004.

Warrior's new album The Wars of Gods and Men features Marc Storace (Krokus) on lead vocals. The album is due for release in the USA February 24. It's produced by guitarist Joe Floyd and Warren Croyle (Halford, Dickinson, Godhead, Gwar), and is described as "old school metal with a modern day vibe that should appeal to young and older metal fans alike."
