good XTC picks (I'd probably sub in Drums and Wires for Nonsuch, but to be fair I haven't really given enough good listens to Nonsuch).

XTC is underrated by hard rock/metal bands - quite a bit of power in their progressions at times

D&W is also great. Complicated Game is among my favorite XTC songs. Mummer, Apple Venus vol.1 and English Settlement are other great albums by this indeed underrated band. :)
